Julia is a spiritual seeker who started yoga in 1999 as an university undergrad. After taking her first Art of Living program in 2002, her journey in yoga evolved into a lifestyle that embodies yoga, meditation, ancient yogic knowledge as well as service to others. She began teaching Art of Living courses in 2005.

Julia teaches courses for children, teens and adults. She is trained to facilitate programs for people with PTSD, as well as specialized programs for school teachers and students. She regularly offers programs for the general public, and credits her dynamic style to working with disengaged learners professionally as a high school teacher.
Practicing yoga and meditation has been transformative for her. Patterns of thinking, feeling, and reacting that she worried were genetically imprinted gave way to a life that is more deeply peaceful and joyful. She is passionate about sharing this and making the world a happier place one smile at a time.
